The Warriors travelled up to junction 19 to play Portishead Town Colts on what was a lovely morning for football, and the boys didn't disappoint.
It took a short while for the lads to find the right tempo in the opening minutes, but once settled the Warriors took hold of the game. Some fantastic open play between Francis Campbell, Nick Whittaker, Ben Osmond led to Seb Leaney getting on the score sheet for the second time this season on 9 minutes. Within four minutes Campbell cut in from the left and slotted a lovely 10 yard pass into the feet of Charlie Phippen who stuck it into the top right hand corner on 13 minutes. This almost woke Portishead up as they began to come back into the game playing some nice football, but nothing came of the pressure and Campbell popped up on 21 minutes to take the Warriors 0-3 up at half time and Jamie Draper hadn't even had a shot.
The second half was all Warriors and the football was a pleasure to watch from the sideline with some fantastic one touch passing going down both flanks and play going from one side of the pitch to the other - the opposition just couldn't cope. Campbell popped up on 40 minutes to make it 4 and bag his 2nd of the game. The game was sealed by the hard work of striker Archie Whittaker who thoroughly deserved his goal on 49 minutes to seal the points for the Warriors.
Final result: Portishead Town Colts 0 v Warriors 5
