End to end stuff, but Burnham get the points!!

What an amazing game this turned out to be, unfortunately the Warriors came away with nothing when they deserved so much more.
It was certainly a game of two halves with the Warriors controlling the first. Stout defending from Dylan Blower and Josh Moon prevented few shots from the opposition, along with the assistance of the midfield of Seb Leaney, Charlie Phippen, Matt Perry, Louis Deane ,Francis Campbell and Jamie Burnett. The lads played some great football and on 15 minutes Campbell and Perry had put pressure on the Burnham goalkeeper which gave Campbell the opening to slot home. The Warriors piled on the attacks and on 23 minutes the ball fell to Burnett who was about 25 yards out,he struck it sweet and hard and it whistled past the Burnham goalkeeper. 0-2 up at half time and smiles everywhere...
The second half started off at pace and Burnham were up for the challenge to get back into the game - and on 32 minutes they got there first with a great move. The equalizer came on 38 minutes when a ball came over the top and caught the Warriors defence leaving a one on one with only Jamie Draper to beat, which they manged to slot past to make it 2-2. The game got more and more exciting and it was hard to keep up with both keepers on form - Draper pulled off some fine saves of his own to keep the Warriors in it.
But on 45 minutes Burnham got the goal that sealed the win - not for the want of Draper trying to keep it out. The Burnham striker hit a thunderbolt straight at him which he parried, he then managed to save the rebound down low to his left - but he just couldn't claw the ball into his hands quick enough allowing the Burnham player to slot in at the far post. The Warriors were devastated when the whistle went, but that's football. The lads played some great football together, but Burnham just took each chance and found the net.
